Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as your browser's local storage. Together they let the site remember your choices and help us understand how the site is used. This policy explains what we use, why, and how you can control it.

2. The categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the website to function and for security. These do not require consent. They include remembering your cookie choice, your language preference, and your light/dark theme preference (stored in your browser's local storage), and bot-protection on our forms.

Analytics (optional)

Help us understand aggregated, anonymized usage — which pages are visited and how the site performs. These only load after you accept. If you reject non-essential cookies, they are not loaded at all.

3. Third-party services

We rely on the following third-party services, which may process limited data (such as your IP address) to provide their function:

  • Vercel — website hosting and content delivery (necessary).
  • Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights — privacy-friendly, aggregated traffic and performance analytics (optional, consent-gated).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot/spam protection on our contact and booking forms (necessary, security).
  • Resend — delivery of emails you trigger by submitting the contact or booking forms (necessary for that function).
  • OpenStreetMap — the map embed on our contact page.
  • OpenAI — powers our chat assistant where enabled; messages you send are processed to generate a response.

Fonts are self-hosted, so loading the site does not send requests to third-party font providers.

4. Managing your preferences

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies at any time. Reopen the preferences panel here:

You can also clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser's settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may affect how the site works.
